Signature Moments

31 Touchdowns — The Single-Season Record

2006 Season·vs vs Entire NFL

LT scored 31 touchdowns in 2006 — 28 rushing and 3 receiving — breaking Shaun Alexander's record. He also rushed for 1,815 yards and won MVP. It was the most prolific scoring season by a non-quarterback in NFL history.

Thirty-one touchdowns in one season. He scored more often than most teams' entire offenses. LT made the end zone his living room.

The Visor and the Glide — LT's Style

2001-2011·vs vs Everyone

Tomlinson's dark visor and graceful running style made him one of the most recognizable players in football. He didn't run through people like Jim Brown or juke like Barry Sanders — he glided, finding holes with patience and exploding through them with burst. He was poetry in cleats.

LT ran like water flows through rocks — finding the path of least resistance and accelerating through it. The most graceful power back in NFL history.
