2003 NCAA Championship — Freshman Carries Syracuse

As a freshman, Melo led Syracuse to the national championship, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the title game against Kansas. He was 18 years old and the best player in college basketball. He left for the NBA draft the next day.
